Michael Joliat

Michael Joliat, who has been working within the industry for the past 13 years, founded Tailoj Marketing in 2006 after identifying a need for effective marketing and design as a way to provide associates with the marketing and graphic services that their companies needed to thrive. What started out as an "on-the-side" business has now grown into a million-dollar enterprise under Joliat's direction.

While attending Marietta College, Mike Joliat studied Advertising, Public Relations, Leadership Studies and a concentration in Economics. While at Marietta, Joliat; looking broaden his classroom experience participated in four internships. The internships, while broad in range gave Joliat a firm understanding of business and political consulting (LNE Group) recreational marketing (Six Flags Worlds of Adventure), non-profit management and fundraising (United Way) and modern agency operations (Offenberger and White).

Following college, Michael Joliat joined the client services team of a marketing solution provider (BrandMuscle) with a primary responsibility of servicing the account of a $13.9B financial services corporation. While in this role, Joliat also managed client implementations and new business segment acquisition and service launches.

While at BrandMuscle, Mike Joliat was tapped to lead the marketing efforts of a major player in the secondary ticketing industry (SelectATicket.com). Joliat managed all marketing operations for the company including; traditional and Internet placements, collateral development and customer retention programs.

In 2008, Michael Joliat transitioned SelectATicket.com from an employer into a client and began building Tailoj Marketing into a full service advertising and marketing agency.
